Welcome to Aama Nepal Foundation, a dedicated non-profit organization based in Birganj, Nepal. Founded on 20th Magh 2078 B.S. (February 3, 2022), we work passionately to empower women and youth, advocate for social justice, and create sustainable opportunities that uplift marginalized communities. Our mission is to inspire hope, foster independence, and build a foundation for sustainable development that benefits all.

What We Do

At Aama Nepal Foundation, our work spans a range of interconnected programs that are designed to build skills, create opportunities, and address social challenges:

1. Skill Development and Self-Employment
   We provide hands-on training in traditional Agro- handicrafts using locally available materials like corn husks and bamboo strips, enabling women to generate income while preserving cultural heritage. Additionally, we offer comprehensive business training to promote entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
2. Youth Empowerment
   Our youth programs encourage young people to pursue innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship, helping them become change-makers within their communities. Through skill-building workshops and mentorship, we support the development of future leaders who are committed to positive, sustainable change.
3. Education and Health Support
   Access to education and health is essential for sustainable community growth. We offer scholarships, learning resources, and regular health camps to support underprivileged children, women, and families, ensuring that everyone has a chance to learn, grow, and lead a healthy life.
4. Environmental Sustainability and Zero Waste Initiatives
   Our environmental programs aim to promote sustainable practices through waste reduction, recycling, and responsible resource management. We conduct awareness campaigns, workshops, and hands-on training that encourage communities to adopt eco-friendly practices.
5. Advocacy Against Violence and Social Injustice
   Committed to protecting women and girls, we advocate against violence, trafficking, and discrimination. Our campaigns educate the public, empower victims, and work with local authorities to create safe, supportive environments for women and girls to thrive.

Our Achievements

Since our establishment, Aama Nepal Foundation has reached several milestones:

• Trained over 100 women in handicraft production and business skills, enabling them to become self-reliant.
• Launched successful advocacy campaigns on women’s rights, gender equality, and anti-trafficking, raising awareness and supporting community safety.
• Organized a Flower Exhibition showcasing the skills of our participants, attended by notable figures and well-received by the public.
• Expanded our health services, offering essential health camps and resources to underserved areas.
• Engaged hundreds of community members in environmental programs promoting zero-waste practices.
